I started a project with a contractor that was cheap and promised good work. He created so much more work by doing things out of code and compliance. I hired JP Landscaping and Excavation to straighten my mess out. JP is dependable, honest, hardworking and knows building and excavation codes. All of his work was delivered on time and everything passed inspection with flying colors. Highly recommended!

Jesse and his crew are exceptional! We had them build a new garden retaining wall in the front of the house and some steps coming off our back patio in the backyard (not pictured). We had Jesse come out and cut out a pad for a carport at our home. Jesse and his team did an excellent job with that. In the meantime we had some septic issues and needed to be connected to city sewer. Jesse got that done in a matter of days. J.P Landscaping is very detail oriented and aims to please the customer. Had Jesse come out and cut a pad for a carport for some much needed extra parking in our driveway. They got it done and poured the concrete and it looks awesome. In the meantime we had some plumbing issues with the existing septic. Jesse and his team took care of that too. Disconnected the septic and had us connected to city sewer in a matter of a few days. I can’t say enough good things about Jessie and his crew. They took a vision and turned it into a reality. And in the middle of it all our nightmare situation with finding out that our house was not on city sewer as we were told when we bought it, we found out after our entire basement flooded from septic back up, Jessie took the ball and ran with it and had us hooked up to city sewer within just a few days. I will never take flushing toilets for granted again.

The team was very responsive. After the initial quote and planning the timeline, the city had so much rain it pushed back the timeline by a couple months from the original plan. However he kept me updated, let me know I was still on the books, and worked me in as soon as the weather cleared up. When the job started, the team was very courteous and good with working in my requests to the drainage system. Overall I’m very happy with their help replacing my retaining wall.

We hired JP Landscaping & Excavating to do some grading in our yard and re-bury a couple of drain pipes, and Jesse was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. I originally misunderstood what was included the first time he came out and thought he was taking care of both areas. When I asked about it later, he was kind and apologetic for the confusion - then surprised me by coming back and fixing the front one for free since it was a simple fix. It's rare to find a contractor who takes such pride in their work and cares enough to go the extra mile for their customers. The grading looks great, the drainage is working perfectly, and the whole process was smooth and professional. Highly recommend Jesse and JP Landscaping & Excavating!

Highly recommend!! We just had a huge project done to expand our driveway and fix some major erosion issues we were having around the existing culvert. He removed trees and stumps, extended the culvert, graded, improved the drainage, and laid gravel and concrete. Jesse made it look better than we had ever even imagined! The communication was great, everyone was so friendly and informative, overall it was a great experience! We plan to use him again for all future projects!
